European Village: Vărzărești kindergarten renovated

Chisinau, Dec. 19 /MOLDPRES/- Albinuța kindergarten in Vărzărești village, Nisporeni district, was renovated, bringing benefits to the institution's staff and 150 children. The works were carried out within the European Village Program, being allocated approximately 8.7 million lei (435 thousand euros) from the National Fund for Local Regional Development.

Among the main works carried out are the thermal efficiency of the building, the construction of the internal water and sewerage network, the installation of the internal heating and ventilation network, the installation of electrical networks.

"The capital repair of the Kindergarten in Vărzărești represents both a physical improvement of the building and an investment in the children's future. With the help of the European Village program, implemented by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, we are building a safe and more modern environment for quality education. We are proud to see that this transformation contributes to the formation of a space conducive to the development of children", director of the National Office for Regional and Local Development Mihail Croitoru said.

The European Village program includes 497 projects. 254 of them have already been completed.
