Periodic technical inspection of vehicles to be simplified

Chisinau, 10 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Periodic technical inspection of vehicles will be simplified. Government approved today the Regulation of the informational resource formed by the AUTOTEST information subsystem.

The regulation presents a new step towards digitization and aims to optimize the processes of carrying out the periodic technical inspection.

The draft decision provides for the approval of new regulations by establishing the functions and basic principles of the informational subsystem, especially the aspects related to the introduction, storage, management of data regarding the technical inspection; online storage of local data; records, user management.

AUTOTEST is a component of the Integrated Management System, through which all the regulatory and supervisory activities carried out by ANTA are carried out.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development said that the exchange of information contained in the national electronic databases will contribute to improving the efficiency of the entire administrative chain and reducing costs.
