People can receive compensations in invoice, monetary payment for last december in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - About 42,000 new households which registered on the platform www.compensatii.gov.md during 26 November-25 December 2023, can see, in the ‘’personal office,’’ the energy vulnerability degree and whether they will benefit from monthly monetary payment.     

according to the Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MMPS), the eligible households will receive compensations for natural gas, thermal energy or electric energy in the invoices for December, issued in January, and for each month till the end of the cold season – March 2024. As many as 781,298 household consumers have registered on the platform www.compensatii.gov.md since the beginning of the 2023-2024 cold season.    

Starting from 12 January, the beneficiaries of the monetary payment worth 800 lei (about 40 euros) have been able to raise their compensation at post offices or can see it on bank cards. In last December, 274,899 households qualified for receiving monetary payment, which is by 16,000 beneficiaries more against November 2023. The value of the financing for last December is 219.9 million lei.  

The monthly monetary payment is paid by the National Social Insurances House, through the MPay governmental service of electronic payments, each month for the previous month.  

The monetary payment and the compensations in invoice are provided only to the households which register on the platform www.compensatii.gov.md. The platform is open for registration and citizens can submit, in continuation, applications to ask for compensations for energy till the date of 25 of each month of the cold period of the year – November 2023 – March 2024. The compensations will be provided starting from the next month for the month when the application was submitted.
