Moldovan foreign affairs minister to pay visit to Brussels

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu on 17 January will pay a working visit to Brussels, where he has scheduled more meetings with European officials, including the director general of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert-Jan Koopman, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
The officials will discuss and outline the next steps as regards the starting of the negotiations on Moldova’s accession to the European Union. Also, the sides will discuss in detail the recent progress made by Moldova in the implementation of the actions left from those three recommendations of the European Commission.
