List of people of asset declarations to be extended

Chisinau, 17 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The list of people of the declaration of assets and personal interests will be expanded. This is provided for in an amendment proposed by MP of the Action and Solidarity Party Lilian Carp to the draft amendment to the Law on evaluation of institutional integrity. The legislative initiative was examined today at a meeting of the national security, defense and public order commission.

According to the author, this is a measure to prevent and combat unjust enrichment, conflicts of interest, as well as the violation of the legal regime of restrictions.

The draft amendment to the Law on evaluation of institutional integrity was set up by a group of MPs of the Action and Solidarity Party faction to adjust the provisions of the normative act with those of some decisions of the Constitutional Court, as well as based on the recommendations of the assessment report of the Law.
