Moldovan state earmarked first agricultural subsidies in 2024

Chisinau, 18 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- In 2024 the Intervention and Payments in Agriculture Agency (AIPA) has started the payment process for requests for financial support received in 2023.
AIPA has already authorized the payment of 100 million lei (5 million euros) to farmers for various types of aid, as follows: 10.32 million lei to support agricultural investments; 65.32 million lei for additional payments; 21.31 million lei for direct support in the livestock sector; 3.05 million lei for rural development projects through the LEADER program.
According to the new State Budget Law for 2024, the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment has a value of 1.6 billion lei.
