Moldova's Republican Centre of Rehabilitation for Children endowed with new ultrasound machine

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Republican Centre of Rehabilitation for Children has been endowed with a new advanced ultrasound machine, which allows the diagnosing of more diseases in children.
The ultrasound machine, worth 978,000 lei, was purchased with the financial support of the government of Japan, within the Kusanone Programme of Grants for Human Security.
Attending the inauguration event was the leadership of the Health Ministry and Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Yamada Yoichiro.
The diplomat said that ‘’the Japanese government is proud to cooperate with Moldova and will continue to do this during the process of accession to the European Union.’’
The Kusanone Programme of Grants for Human Security was launched in Moldova in 2008.
