Moldovan parliament adopted 455 legal acts last year

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Parliament met in two ordinary and one extraordinary sessions, and adopted 455 normative acts during 2023.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, out of the total number of acts, 318 were laws, and 137 – decisions of the Parliament. In the first reading, 323 legislative initiatives were approved. MPs also voted in the first and second reading at the same session on 81 draft laws. 39 normative acts were adopted as a priority.

Last year, MPs adopted 43 laws to harmonize national legislation with European Union legislation. At the same time, the Parliament denounced 20 agreements with CIS.

During 2023, deputies met in 43 plenary meetings.
