Moldovan delegation at GreenWeek2024 consolidated several sustainable relationships in agro-industrial sector

Chisinau, 22 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), participated in GreenWeek-2024 event, held on January 18-21 in Berlin, Germany. Moldovan officials managed to lay the foundation of several bridges for sustainable relations in the field.
For two days, the delegation had meetings with Ministers of Agriculture from Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria etc.
"We are discussing the common European future and what things we need to prioritize on the ministry line, in order to align agricultural policy with EU standards. Talks will be turned into actions. New Memoranda of Understanding are to be signed and the existing ones expanded, by including new clauses and objectives, which will bring us closer to the European Union", Bolea said.
GreenWeek is a European event with a history of over 100 years. In 2024, Moldova for the first time had an exhibition platform of 100 m2, where nine local producers presented their products.
