Moldovan young people can benefit from paid internships in energy sector

Chisinau, 22 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan young people can benefit from paid internships in the energy sector. They are offered as part of the second round of the Powering Moldova's Future - Young Professional Internship Program, launched by the Ministry of Energy, in partnership with USAID, through Moldova's Energy Security Activity (MESA).
The program gives young people the opportunity to gain practical knowledge, improve technical skills and interact with professionals in the energy sector. The internship will take place in April - September 2024. The application deadline is February 11, 2024.
According to the Ministry of Energy, in 2023, over 70% of the young people who participated in Round I of the internship program became full-time employees in the institutions and companies where they did internships.
MESA lasts four years, through which USAID will invest at least 59 million dollars in strengthening and diversifying the country's energy sector.
