Public authorities submitted 48 reports to parliament last year

Chisinau, 24 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Public authorities presented 48 reports to the parliament last year. 13 reports were considered at the plenary sessions, and as a result of their debate, ten decisions of the Parliament were adopted.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, it is about the annual report on observance of human rights and freedoms in the Republic of Moldova; the annual activity reports of the Audiovisual Council, Competition Council, Teleradio-Moldova Company. 18 reports were examined by the parliamentary committees.
In accordance with the provisions of the Parliament's Regulation, the Government, the Court of Accounts, the National Anti-corruption Center, as well as other public authorities are required to present to the parliament annual activity reports or reports on other issues related to their field of competence.
MPs presented 364 amendments to bills in various fields, 39 more amendments than in 2022. Most amendments were presented by deputies of the Action and Solidarity Party faction - 291. Members of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists faction presented 60 amendments, and unaffiliated deputies - 13 amendments.
