Citizens of 47 states to be able to work in Moldova without work permit

Chisinau, 24 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Citizens of 47 states will be able to work in the Republic of Moldova without a work permit. The list of countries whose citizens will be able to benefit from these facilities was expanded by the government today.

Among the 20 countries additionally added to the list are Canada, the Swiss Confederation, Georgia, Iceland, Japan, Norway, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Turkey, the United States of America, Ukraine.

Thus, the inhabitants of the states will be able to work in Moldova up to 90 days without a work permit and only on the basis of a visa, the right of residence or the right of temporary residence.

The decision complements a decision approved in last June, when the same restrictions were removed for citizens of European Union states.
