Moldovan PM meets Hungarian President

Chisinau, 25 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The ways in which we can strengthen bilateral relations between our countries, as well as the development of new opportunities for cooperation, especially in the economic sector were issues approached by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and President of Hungary Katalin Novák, the government's communication department has reported.
The officials addressed the joint efforts of the authorities to ensure the irreversibility of our country's European integration path.
"The opening of accession negotiations with the EU is the result of our joint work and we are firmly committed to continue the reforms and European modernization of the Republic of Moldova, including by adjusting the legislation to European standards", Recean said.
He is on a working visit to Hungary, following the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Recean will meet his Hungarian counterpart, businessmen and Moldovan diaspora in Hungary.
