State budget's overall revenues increase by 9 per cent in Moldova in 2023

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - The overall state budget revenues in 2023 amounted to more than 64.6 billion lei (about 3.23 billion euros), - up by nine per cent against the same period of 2022. The Finance Ministry unveiled information to this effect today.
The collections from the revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) represent about 27.5 billion lei and from those managed by the Customs Service – about 35.2 billion lei.
The expenses stood at 80.7 billion lei and are by about 17.7 per cent higher against the same period of 2022.
The fulfillment of the state budget in late 2023 resulted in a deficit worth 16.1 billion lei.
