Moldovan president summons Supreme Security Council, during which situation in justice sector was discussed

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today summoned a meeting of the Supreme Security Council (CSS), during which the problems of the judicial system were tackled, especially the corruption from this system, the presidential press service has reported.
This subject was discussed in the light of the National Security Strategy, recently adopted, which identifies the corruption, including in the justice sector, as a serious threat to the security of the state and the citizens. Besides the CSS members, the members of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Superior Council of Prosecutors, Supreme Court of Justice and other representatives of the justice sector were invited to the meeting.
