Over 20 regional development projects in central Moldova to be funded by state in 2024

Chisinau, 31 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- National Regional and Local Development Coordination Council (CNCDRL) earmarked 123 million lei (6.15 million euros) for 21 regional and urban revitalization projects due to be carried out in the central Moldova.
According to the Center Regional Development Agency (ADR), most of these projects focus on the construction of water mains, ecotourism, tourist infrastructure and urban development in various localities in the center of the country. "Thus, this year we are committed to complete the energy efficiency works of Alexei Mateevici Theoretical High School in Șoldănești, as well as the initiation of the construction works of Chisinau-Străseni-Călărași water main, in order to maintain the pace of development for a fair economic growth in the region", ADR Centre said.
In 2023, ADR Centre implemented 16 regional infrastructure projects. The projects were financed from various sources, including the National Regional and Local Development Fund and the Road Fund.
