Chisinau, 31 January /MOLDPRES/ - A centre of information and consultancy in business of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) was inaugurated in the Balti city today. The centre is set to develop and promote the entrepreneurial skills and culture, providing services of information and consultancy in the entire northern region of Moldova.
Thus, the beneficiary companies will have access to the information necessary for accessing non-refundable financial resources, in order to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Moldova.
„The entrepreneurs represent the engine of our economy and we are dedicated to provide the support and instruments which they need to develop businesses and create jobs. The ODA Centre of Consultancy in Business from Balti is an important step to this end and we will continue investing in the development of SMEs from Moldova,’’ Deputy PM, Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba said.
Ambassador of the European Union to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks said that EU backed the development of SMEs from Moldova, for them to become the driving force of the local welfare and development. ‘’We are confident that the Centre launched today, managed by ODA, will contribute to Moldova’s transformation into a friendlier environment for new companies, for investments in business, generation of new jobs and the carrying out of economic activities,’’ Jānis Mažeiks noted.
