Chisinau, 31 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, today cancelled the illegal decisions by the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Chisinau municipality, which deal with the financing and management of the personal assistance services. These illegal decisions declare illegal the order by the education and research minister on the cessation of the labour relations with the head of the education department of the Chisinau municipality, as well as the decision approving the regulation on the taxes for the work of the groups with extended schedule at the schools from the Moldovan capital, the government’s communication department has reported.
The Commission finds out that there is not legal ground for the municipal commission to take such decisions. CSE also asked the State Chancellery to notify the Prosecutor General’s Office for the verification of the actions of the people in charge of the adoption of these decisions.
„Through the decision of CSE of the Chisinau municipality, the taxes for the extended schedule were put at the expense of parents. This Commission cannot cancel the orders by a minister. What happened is an obvious abuse of powers and we will appeal to the competent bodies for establishing sanctions,’’ Minister Dan Perciun said.
Another CSE decision regards the allocation by the government of a sum of 50 million lei from the intervention fund, in order to provide emergency financial assistance to the farmers hit by natural calamities in 2023.
Also, the Commission for Emergency Situations cancelled the alert state in the natural gas sector. This decision was approved, after the CSE members had found out that the alert state on the natural gas market was no longer needed, due to the diversification of the supply sources and filling of the stocks.
