National Land Improvement Agency to be headed by Valeri Perceamlî

Chisinau, Feb. 1 /MOLDPRES/ - National Land Improvement Agency (ANÎF) will be headed by Valeri Perceamlî, who was introduced to the staff by Vasile Şarban, state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).

"ANÎF's mission is a particularly important one and consists of implementing irrigation policies. The ministry is paying more attention to this area, as our farmers are dependent on water resources to achieve agricultural production. We want to have a close collaboration with the ANÎF team, to bring together the much-needed change for the agricultural community", Vasile Şarban said.

A public contest was organized to fill the position. Previously, Valeri Perceamlî has served as deputy head of the Land and Cadastre Relations Agency.
