Moldova's North Region to turn to account 97 million lei for infrastructure projects in 2024

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Coordination Council for Regional and Local Development (CNCDRL) has ruled to earmark 97 million lei (4.85 million euros) from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL) for 11 infrastructure projects implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) in 2024.

The projects’ beneficiaries are to contribute 10 per cent of the sums allocated from FNDRL for each project separately.

“Important financial sources were earmarked for projects on urban development, as well as for projects on supply with water and sewerage and on the turning to account of business infrastructures,’’ ADR Nord said.

In 2023, ADR Nord finished the implementation of eight infrastructure projects financed from FNDRL and of one infrastructure project financed by the European Union.
