Moldovan PM visits factory for producing clothes for children from Causeni town

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recea, on a working visit to the south-eastern Causeni district, has visited the business PICCI – a native producer of clothes for children. A young entrepreneur, Valeriu Branza, who returned from Spain, founded the company in 2009 and purchased the needed equipment due to a grant got within a national programme on economic empowerment of young people, the government’s communication has reported.   

Presently, 12 employees work in the production workshop and the clothes produced are sold both at a specialized shop, in Causeni, and in more district centres of Moldova, as well as on online platforms.   

„We appreciate especially that you have chosen to invest and open a business at home, in the native settlement. You represent an example of young entrepreneur who contributes to the country’s economic development and provides our citizens with quality products,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.   

The prime minister discussed with the businessman the difficulties he faces in the work, as well as the plans for the future. The state provides more opportunities to those who want to develop their business, such as the 373 programme. The entrepreneur says that he will soon submit the file on participation in the Programme, in order to increase the productivity and buy its own space for the factory, instead of the one rented at present.
