Consultations on referendum concerning Moldova's accession to EU continue

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu continues the consultations with the civil society on the referendum concerning Moldova’s accession to the European Union. Representatives of the organizations included in the platform of the civil society of the Eastern Partnership, as well as of other non-governmental organizations were invited to the today’s discussion, the presidential press service has reported.  

The Moldovan president highlighted the role of the non-governmental organizations as engine for the democratic consolidation and for the promotion of the European integration. The head of state stressed how important is that this democratic process should be as representative as possible, in order to ensure the success of a crucial moment on Moldova’s way to the capacity of European Union member.
