ANRE: Fuel stock market quotations getting higher

Chisinau, Feb. 12 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) notes an increasingly sharp increase in Platts quotations for petroleum products.

According to ANRE, in the last four days, Platts quotations increased by 3.5% for petrol and 5.4% for diesel. Thus, petrol quotations reached 844 dollars per ton, and diesel - 900 dollars/ton, registering the highest level since the beginning of this year.

International experts explain the developments by the reaction of global markets to the lack of immediate prospects for a cease-fire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as the attacks of American military troops last week on Iranian paramilitary groups in the Middle East.

Under these conditions, for tomorrow, ANRE announced a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 24.45 lei per liter, increasing by 0.07 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 22.63 lei per liter, up by 0.15 lei.
