Moldovan Deputy PM for European Integration has meeting with U.S. Ambassador

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov has had a meeting with Ambassador of the United States to Moldova Kent D. Logsdon, the government’s communication reported.

The officials discussed Moldova’s European integration way and the progress made in the implementation of the last three recommendations of the European Commission. In the context, Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov thanked for the substantial support provided by the USA in the fight against the corruption and the consolidation of the rule of law state in Moldova.

At the same time, the Moldovan official reiterated the authorities’ commitment to continue the implementation of the reforms’ agenda, so that the country advances in an accelerated pace on the way of accession to EU.
