President, ambassadors accredited to Moldova discussed EU accession referendum

Chisinau, Feb. 13 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited to our country and heads of diplomatic missions of Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Great Britain, Norway, the United States and Ukraine, the presidential press service has reported.
The President discussed with the diplomats the situation in the country, the fulfillment of commitments in the context of the European integration process and the initiative to organize a referendum on our country's accession to the EU.
Maia Sandu reaffirmed the commitment of the government team to continue the reforms initiated to increase the welfare of citizens and ensure the rule of law.
