Allowances for war widows, children, parents of veterans to increase in Moldova as of next March

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - The allowances provided to the war widows, the children and parents of the veterans who died will be increased by 250 lei. The members of the parliament’s commission for social protection, health and family today considered a draft to this effect.
Thus, the participants, out of the military, in the World War II, including the former prisoners of the fascist concentration camps and ghettoes, the wives and the husbands of the participants in the World War II or in combat actions in peaceful times, who died while fulfilling their duty or of the people with disabilities in the wake of the war, who died, will benefit from increased allowances.
The draft law regards also the children of the war veterans who died while fulfilling their duty or of the people with disabilities in the wake of the war, who died, as well as the parents of the participants in the combat actions during peaceful times or in the armed conflict for the defence of Moldova’s territorial integrity and independence, who died while fulfilling their duty.
A number of 570 people will benefit from higher allowances in all.
