European Integration Office team expanding

Chisinau, February 14 /MOLDPRES/- European Integration Office (BIE) team has been completed. The cabinet approved today the appointment of Ghenadie Marian as head of the BIE. Rodica Crudu will serve as state secretary of the government and will be part of the team led by Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov, the government's communication department has reported.
Ghenadie Marian has been working in the European integration sector since 2016 both within the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) and at the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the EU.
Rodica Crudu also has a vast experience in promoting European values. She is a PhD in economic sciences, university lecturer, former dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, former deputy head of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. Previously, she held the position of deputy secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for European Integration.
"Today, we are strengthening the team of the European Integration Office. I thank my colleagues that they accepted to assume the responsibility of further contributing to the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union", Gherasimov said.
