Moldovan wrestler became European vice-champion

Chisinau, February 15 /MOLDPRES/ - Greco-Roman wrestler Victor Ciobanu became European vice-champion.
Before reaching the final, Victor Ciobanu defeated the Ukrainian Victor Petryk (12-3), Georgian Georgij Tibilov (8-0), and in the semi-finals he passed Sadyk Lalaev, (2-2) an athlete who performs at the European Championships in the Romanian capital under a neutral flag.
The European Wrestling Championship is held in Bucharest, Romania, on February 12-18.
