Moldovan policemen to verify way buses, trucks are exploited

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen on 19-15 February  will carry out activities of verification and documentation of drivers as regards the way of exploitation of buses and trucks on public roads.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), the law-enforcers will verify: the way of transportation of passengers and pupils; exploitation of transport units with the infringement of the technical standards and norms; exploitation of vehicles on which Xenon- or LED-type light sources are set; detection of cases of infringement of the rules of transportation of goods and parcels; violation of the rules of unauthorized placement of advertising on vehicles.   

The actions’ goal is to enhance the degree of safety in traffic, as well as to raise the awareness of the public about the risk of occurring of traffic accidents with the involvement of these transport means.
