Drone fragments found in Moldovan-Ukrainian border area

Chisinau, February 17 /MOLDPRES/- Several fragments of a drone similar to Герань-2 type were found today by the border police near the town of Etulia Nouă, Vulcăneşti district.

According to the Border Police, the information was sent to the relevant authorities, and access to the area was restricted.

"The fragments of the drone were found around 16:40, in a field, about 2 km from the Moldovan-Ukrainian border line and about 5 km from the town. So far, the authorities have implemented all the necessary measures to maintain order, peace and public safety. There is no danger to the community," the institution said.

Late last week, fragments of a Shahed type drone were found near the town of Etulia, Vulcănești district. The police safely detonated its explosive charge.
