Deputy PM for European Integration meets ambassadors of EU member states accredited in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov has had a meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited in Moldova, the government’s communication department reported.
The sides discussed the government’s priorities as regards the European integration agenda, including the first steps the leadership is making in the assessment of the national legislation with the EU’s one.
The participants in the meeting also discussed the implementation of the last three recommendations of the European Commission. In this respect, Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov stressed the authorities’ commitment to continue the reforms in the judicial system and in the de-oligarchization process. The official thanked for the constant support provided, including in order to get the positive vote for starting the negotiations on accession.
„We are happy to have the closest relation with EU in our country’s modern history and we will continue developing this partnership, so that Moldova becomes a EU member state,’’ Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov also said.
