Deputy PM for European Integration, Estonian official discuss development on Moldova's European integration agenda

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov on 19 February had a meeting with Special Envoy for Eastern Partnership of Estonia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, Director of the Department for Ukraine, Moldova and Southern Caucasus Gert Antsu.    

According to the government’s communication department, the officials discussed the developments on the European integration agenda and the next steps Moldova has to undertake in the context of the European Council’s last December historical decision to start the negotiations on accession with Moldova.   

„We are interested in deepening even more our good cooperation in the European integration field and in this respect, we rely on the vast experience and expertise of Estonia,’’ Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov said. At the same time, the official reaffirmed the authorities’ determination to implement the reforms needed, in order to advance in the European integration process.
