Air companies of Moldova to be able to operate direct flights to United Kingdom

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s citizens will benefit from direct flights from and to the United Kingdom. The cabinet today approved the Agreement on air services between the governments of Moldova and the United Kingdom. The document was signed in London on 22 January 2024, the government’s communication department has reported.

The agreement contributes to the consolidation of the diplomatic and economic relations, as well as to the favouring of the investment climate between Moldova and the United Kingdom. Also, the development of the air traffic will bring direct benefits to the consumers, which will be reflected in qualitative services, low tariffs and shorter time of travel.

Moldova signed such agreements with 21 countries and their number is continuously increasing.
