Two hospitals from north, south of Moldova receive new medical equipment

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - The District Hospitals from Edinet and Cahul have been endowed with a mobile radiological unit each. The equipment with capacities of use during operations will ensure a quick diagnose for citizens, including for refugees from Ukraine.

According to the Health Ministry, the equipment was set in the traumatology and orthopedy section of the Edinet District Hospital and is functional and the first three patients benefited from the investigations necessary.

The equipment represents a donation by the Federal Foreign Affairs Ministry of Germany, within the project, Humanitarian assistance and of protection to vulnerable people from Ukraine and from the neighbour countries hit by war. The overall sum of the donation is of 140,000 euros.
