Three men detained for setting fire to transport means, placement buildings in Gagauzia

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - Three men from the Congaz village, Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, have been detained for 72 hours for the setting fire, on order, to transport means and placement buildings from UTA Gagauzia.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), the suspects, with ages of 35, 38 and 40 years, would have set fire this month to the door of a hotel from the Vulcanesti district, on which they write, OUT.
„They set fire to the gate of a placement centre for refugees from Ukraine and put down the same inscription. The suspects, through intimidations, were instigating to hatred and violence against the refugees from Ukraine. One of the men served his term in prison in Russia,’’ IGP said.
The same inscription was written on two vehicles belonging to refugees from Ukraine.
During the searches, law-enforcers detected and raised mobile phones, cylinders with inflammable substances, recipient with paint, masks with hoods.
Presently, law-enforcers continue the investigations, in order to establish all circumstances of the case.
