Moldovan president, more culture people discuss referendum on Moldova's accession to EU

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met more artists and culture people, with whom she discussed the referendum on Moldova’s European way.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state stressed the important role of the people from the culture sector for backing the European integration way of Moldova, by the promotion of the national and European values through books, music and movies.   

Also today, more managers of culture sections from Moldova were invited to another round of consultations on the subject of referendum on accession to the European Union. Maia Sandu highlighted the importance of a correct informing and communication about EU in each community, as this proves the unity and support of the entire society for the European integration project.  

The series of consultations will continue in the weeks to come.
