Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Council of the European Union today ruled to impose restrictive measures against six people and one entity ‘’which would undermine the democracy and stability of the Republic of Moldova.’’
President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean welcomed the decision of the EU’s Council.
„Today, the EU Council took decisive measures through the imposing of new restrictive measures against those who undermine the democracy of Moldova. These measures convey a clear-cut message – together, we are strong in ensuring a safe future,’’ Maia Sandu said.
PM Dorin Recean said that the EU Council’s decision ‘’is a clear sign that we enjoy the EU’s unconditional support in the fight against Russia’s hybrid war and the attempts to undermine the rule of law state and the security of our country.’’
