PM says Moldova continues edifying safe business environment for attracting foreign investments

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - The British company, MacRebur, specialized in innovating solutions for the construction of roads, has recently invested in a production facility in Straseni. Prime Minister Dorin Recean visited the company which came to Moldova with an investment of 1.2 million euros and presently has 10 employees and plans of extending the team.     

The business is focused on the transformation of waste made of recycled plastic into additives for asphalt, in order to turn it more resistant. This is a technology which enhances the asphalt’s quality by 30 per cent and prolongs the useful life of the road infrastructure. The company’s product will be used in Moldova and will be exported to Ukraine.   

„MacRebur is a partner of Moldova, as well as an example of company which regards with confidence the economy of our country. The government’s priority is to edify, in continuation, a safe and favourable environment for the attraction of new foreign investments, for the development of businesses and creation of new jobs,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.  

For their part, the company’s representatives said that they had chosen to invest in Moldova, as the country provided numerous opportunities and the effort of integration into the European Union opens also more possibilities for the development of successful businesses.
