Children from two central Moldova districts to benefit from free of charge stomatological services

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - Children from the rural settlements of Moldova will benefit from free of charge stomatological services this year as well. Thus, during 26 February – 1 March, mobile teams of physicians specialists will be in more settlements of the central Criuleni and Straseni districts.

According to the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), last week, about 800 people carried out prophylactic examinations, of whom almost 450 – lung screening and 345 children were consulted by dentists.

Over five million lei was planned for the 2024 year for the providing of the stomatological services by mobile teams of physicians specialists in the fund of prophylaxis measures.

According to CNAM, in 2023, about 11,000 children from more settlements of Moldova benefited from free of charge stomatological services worth over four million lei.
