We Invest in Teachers programme to be extended in kindergartens of Moldova; 2,000 educators to benefit from free of charge training courses

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Programme, We Invest in Teachers, will be extended in the preschool institutions. Over 2,000 educators will benefit from free of charge training courses. About six million lei (300,000 euros) will be allocated from the state budget to this end.

The Education and Research Ministry specified that the minimal number teachers due to be involved in the training programme was of 15 people per one institution.   

The employees will benefit from free of charge trainings, quantified with 10 professional loans at the Psycho-pedagogy module. The continuous training programme will be carried out at the pre-school education institutions (at least 70 per cent) and online (30 per cent) on the period May-December 2024, according to the a schedule agreed upon with the provider of continuous training.  

The subjects of trainings will meet the present needs of teachers, including: normative framework of the work of the teachers, relation of educator with children and parents, the relevance of the learning, inclusive education.   

In 2023, over 3,000 teachers from 91 institutions from Moldova benefited from free of charge training courses within the We Invest in Teachers national programme. Six million lei was earmarked from the state budget on this purpose.
