Moldovan government extends call for selection of director of Moldpres State News Agency

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet has extended by one week the public call for the selection of the director of the Moldpres State News Agency (AIS Moldpres). The spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda, today made statements to this effect.

„The call for the selection of the director of the Moldpres State News Agency is prolonged by one week. People interested and with experience in the media management sector are urged to send the CV and a letter of intent to the email moldpres@gov.md. The Moldpres director, if the CV and the letter of intent are convincing, and if you are selected, is paid with a monthly salary of 30,000 lei,’’ Daniel Voda said.

Last week, the government launched a public call for the selection of the director of AIS Moldpres.

The Moldpres State News Agency Public Institution is a self-managed governmental news agency. The Agency’s basic work consists in the publicizing of the events taking place in Moldova and abroad, the correct, equidistant, transparent informing and the ensuring of the pluralism of opinions. Also, another duty is the one to ensure the dissemination of information (stories, interviews, feature reports, photo reports) from the first source to news agencies from abroad. At the same time, another important activity of AIS Moldpres is the one of editing and printing of Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
