Norms of expenses for maintenance of people accommodated in social institutions to be increased by 13.4 per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a 13.4-per cent increase in the expenses in money for the maintenance of the people accommodated in social institutions, according to the consumer price index for the last year.   

The norms of expenses regard the supply with food products, medicines, clothes, footwear, hygienic and sanitary goods, inventory, games and toys. They are enforced for the social institutions of all types and levels.    

The provisions of the decision will enter into force as of 1 March 2024. The financial means needed to this end were provided for in the Law on state budget for this year.
