Moldovan Superior Council of Magistracy has new member

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The General Assembly of Judges today elected a new member of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM). The acting president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Aliona Miron, was elected CSM member with 234 votes for.
Only judge Aliona Miron was included in the list of candidates for the office of member in the Superior Council of Magistracy, as she passed the external evaluation of the ethic and financial integrity before the independent Commission for evaluation of the integrity of the candidates for the office of member in the self-management bodies of judges and prosecutors.
Also today, the CSM leadership unveiled the annual report on the work of the Council for the 2023 year.
Over 300 judges out of those 365 ones in office participated in the General Assembly of Judges today.
