Moldovan Prime Minister in discussions with Bulgarian President

Chisinau, March 1 /MOLDPRES/- Regional and global challenges, reforms implemented by the government to increase the welfare of citizens, as well as the intensification of Moldovan-Bulgarian cooperation in key areas were among the topics discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, the government's communication department has reported.
The officials also discussed recent security developments in the region and attempts to destabilize our society in order to undermine the prospects of EU integration.
"Despite all the challenges, joining the big European family is a priority and we are moving forward firmly in implementing the necessary reforms," he said.
The sides welcomed the establishment in Taraclia of the branch of the Angel Kanchev University in Ruse, Bulgaria. This will improve the quality of education and vocational training for young people in the south of the country, working conditions for teachers, and graduates will receive diplomas in specialties accredited and recognized in Europe.
