Moldovan head of state awards honorific titles to more artists of Folclor Orchestra

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has awarded honorific titles to more artists, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the foundation of the Folclor Folk Music Orchestra of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, the presidential press service reported.

Under the decree signed by the head of state, the artists were appreciated for high professional mastership and outstanding progress in the creation activity, as well as for contribution to the turning to good account and promotion of the authentic music folklore. Thus, the title of Master in Art was awarded to Vitalie Grib. At the same time, the title Merited Artist was awarded to Valentin Butucel, Diamanta Paterău-Șveț, Valentina Rusu and Viorel Țurcan.
