Moldovan head of state has meeting with Romania's Ambassador to Moldova, in context of visit to Bucharest on next days

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has met Romania’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Cristian-Leon Turcanu. The meeting took place in the context of the mutual visits by the two countries’ leaders.

President Maia Sandu pays a working visit to Bucharest on 5-6 March, where she will have discussions with President Klaus Iohannis and Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu. Last week, Romanian Senate’s President Nicolae Ciuca was on a visit to Chisinau.

The bilateral discussions are focused on cross-border projects, meant to improve the living standards of the citizens on both banks of the Prut river, Moldova’s accession to the European Union and the regional security.
