Moldovan president meets Romanian prime minister

Chisinau, March 5 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu met this morning with Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu. In Bucharest, the head of state discussed with the Romanian prime minister about the cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials reiterated their commitment to the development of cross-border infrastructure and the strengthening of energy interconnections, which brings citizens from both banks of the Prut river closer to each other.

Maia Sandu emphasized that Romania's unconditional support helps us to improve the quality of life at home and to advance with determined steps on the path to joining the European Union.
