MPs voted on 63 legislative initiatives last month

Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- 63 legislative initiatives were voted in the plenary session of the Parliament in February. 39 normative acts entered the legislative procedure.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 23 draft laws were voted in the first reading, and three of them aim to adjust the Moldovan legislation to that of the European Union. In the second reading, 40 normative acts were adopted. It is about 25 laws and 15 decisions.
Thus, MPs voted to increase allowances for war widows, children and parents of veterans, to make it easier for passengers to get their money back if airlines go bankrupt, or to set limits on cash payments.
Last month, changes were also adopted in the nominal composition of the permanent committees and the parliamentary friendship groups, and deputy Doina Gherman was elected as vice-president of the Parliament.
In February, Parliament convened in three plenary sessions.
