Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- Agricultural chambers will be created in the Republic of Moldova - an institutional system that will contribute to the achievement of the development priorities of the agricultural sector and rural environment. According to a draft law, approved yesterday by the Government, they will be constituted in two levels: regional agricultural chambers and the National Agricultural Chamber.
The project is meant to support the development of the agricultural community and promote the integration of new technologies, innovations and good practices. Also, through the agricultural chamber, farmers will be able to collaborate to address specific issues and promote their interests in relation to public authorities, national and international institutions and organizations.
"Agricultural chambers will provide farmers with access to necessary resources and information, including training programs and financing, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences between members. A farmer will be able to be a member of only one regional agricultural chamber", explains the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
The law is to be approved by the Parliament.
