Exhibition of photos from Cuba inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/ - The National Art Museum of Moldova, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Moldova and Romania, headquartered in Bucharest, has inaugurated an exhibition of photos titled, Havana.
The director of the aforementioned museum, Tudor Zbarnea, said that Havana was a photo exhibition of more Cuban artists, one Romanian and one Spanish artists, which is curated by a Cuban visual artist, Nelson Ramírez de Arellano Conde. ‘’This is our first cooperation with the Embassy of the Cuba with headquarters in Bucharest and I think that we will find ways of cultural cooperation from now on as well. The exhibition shows us some aspects of Cuba, but to a great extent, we find artistic photographs with full psychological charge,’’ Tudor Zbarnea noted.
Attending the event, Bucharest-based Ambassador of Cuba to Moldova Deborah I. Ojeda Valedon thanked the National Art Museum of Moldova for the hosting of this exhibition. ‘’The cultural exhibition is one of the best instruments, in order to edify bridges of knowledge between countries. And this exhibition is set to accomplish this between Cuba and Moldova and also to create the appetite for more of what our nice island has to provide to the world,’’ the Cuban diplomat stressed.
The exhibition will be opened till 31 March.
